Pledge positioning helps community foundation project consistent message
Kosciusko County Community Foundation


The Kosciusko County Community Foundation had served its community since 1968, yet much of the public was not familiar with the organization. KCCF had struggled with conveying its message and mission. In hiring MillerWhite to assist with this effort, KCCF was impressed with the firm’s foundation knowledge and ability to measure marketing effectiveness. MillerWhite developed a polished, professional image for KCCF that was implemented throughout its marketing tools and communications pieces. A new logo, tagline and web site (www.kcfoundation.org) were among the items MillerWhite created for KCCF, helping the foundation present its message in a consistent manner each and every time. The tagline – “Where Donor Dreams Shine” – accompanied a logo designed to inspire the foundation’s audience and help focus its diverse message. An identity guide and a Message and Action Guidelines (MAG) document were created to support the new look and help KCCF board and staff internalize the tagline. As a result, both the foundation’s image and bottom line flourished.
