DailyMed™, a pharmacy program of Arcadia Health Care, dispenses a monthly cycle of a patient's prescriptions, over-the-counter medications and vitamins, and organizes them into pre-sorted packets marked with the date and time the medications should be taken. Generally marketed for use by elderly patients and those with chronic health problems, DailyMed improves patient care and drug utilization and can reduce drug and hospitalization costs for private and government payers.

In assisting DailyMed with the introduction of the program, MillerWhite Marketing recommended that a comprehensive customer profile survey be performed to gain information about current patient-users in general and more specifically about the caregivers who were responsible for signing up the patients for the program. The demographic and interest information elicited by the phone interview survey was used to target prospective customers of the service.
