MillerWhite, LLC congratulates Terre Haute businessman
Kevin Burke in his successful bid for the Democratic nomination
in the city's upcoming mayoral election. On May 6, Burke defeated
former mayor, Jim Jenkins, and the incumbent, Judy Anderson, and
another candidate by winning 56% of the vote.
Burke, who had not previously run for public office, had to overcome a lack
of name recognition as he faced the two well-known Democrats in the primary.
MillerWhite was pleased to be involved in Burke's campaign by creating logo/identity
materials, TV and radio spots and print ads that successfully brought his name/image
to the voters.
In November Burke will go up against Republican Duke Bennett for the mayor's
seat.
Burke's family business, Burke Spring and Alignment, has been a client of MillerWhite,
LLC for several years. Creative billboards and entertaining radio spots have
highlighted MW's campaigns for the Burke auto service business.
