The June 4 MillerWhite,
LLC 25th Anniversary Baseball Picnic at Victory Field was
a huge success. With 100% employee attendance, it was easily
the best-attended event ever held by the integrated marketing
company. The made-to-order evening began with a delicious
catered meal in the Victory Field picnic area and ended
with a walk-off homerun by Jose Leon that gave the Indians
a 9-6 victory over the Charlotte Knights.
The perfect 85-degree evening was also
Terre Haute Community Night at the Indians game, and in
honor of the occasion, Terre Haute and MillerWhite 25th
Anniversary banners flew just over the left field fence
line. MillerWhite’s director of business development
Chris Jefferson sang the National Anthem for the nearly
11,000 fans.
That virtuoso performance was followed
by partner Brian Miller throwing out the first pitch,
heaving the rock about 57 feet and bouncing it in front
of the plate into the catcher’s glove. (Nothing
to be ashamed of, since that pitch was followed by an
almost identical one by Terre Haute Mayor Kevin Burke.)

Employees brought
family and friends along for a total attendance of about
60 people. As the game began, Brian and partner Bill White
provided Indians ball caps to all the MillerWhite kids in
attendance. Between the game action, the concessions, Rowdie
the mascot, Dora the Explorer, and the rock ’n roll
frisbee dogs, it was a great evening of food, fun and family
that won’t soon be forgotten!
MillerWhite employees are hoping that
Bill and Brian are already planning a similar event for
next year! |
