MillerWhite-produced public service
spot wins Telly award
May 4, 2010
A public service announcement created by MillerWhite Marketing
for the Indiana Student Financial Aid Association (ISFAA)
was recently honored with a Bronze Telly Award.
The spot featured Indiana Fever star Tamika Catchings encouraging
Indiana high school seniors to participate in College Goal
Sunday, ISFAA’s program to assist students in filling
out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
FAFSA is held at more than 35 sites around the state, and
the public service announcement was aired statewide in the
period prior to the February event.
The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding
local, regional, national and cable TV commercials and programs,
and video and film productions. A panel of production professionals
from across the country judges the entries against a high
standard of excellence. The competition received 13,000 entries
from the 50 states and many foreign countries.
